Roots and Vision
Roots
My journey began in Margaret River, Australia, where I was introduced to the art of wax carving by my teacher Aline. From that moment, I became passionate about creating unique pieces, each with its own story to tell.
But, as with any journey, there were challenges. When it came time to start producing and building a brand, I couldn't connect with my main producer — a large company whose way of working I didn’t identify with, and I couldn’t quite understand what went on behind their doors. Everything changed when I arrived to Bali. I met Ketut and his family, who welcomed me into their world of tradition and craftsmanship. Together, we worked on ring trials, and he shared his methods, his culture, and his celebrations with me. It was a completely different process — more transparent, organic, and human.
It was then that I fell in love with this new approach, and that’s when Haina was born.
Vision
Through Haina, I want to share the same essence that nature has always given me. The rings are a reminder to be more present, to recall the good moments, to smile, breathe, and appreciate the small things in life. Each piece carries a quiet message to slow down, connect with the world around you, and live with intention.
